Thriving Skills
Every year thousands of orphaned and at-risk youth face the difficult life transition to adulthood and independent living.
Many dream of furthering their education, starting a career, providing for their families, traveling the world, and giving back to their community.
But orphaned and abandoned youth have to overcome incredible obstacles to reach these goals and successfully transition to a stable, independent life.
The transition to independence looks like a giant cliff.
WE WANT TO TURN THAT CLIFF INTO A BRIDGE.

Student Testimonies
Flint Global serves orphaned and at-risk youth (ages 15-25) by equipping local orphan homes and other non-profit organizations to provide Flint's Thriving Skills program to youth preparing for the transition to independence, work, and adulthood. Thriving Skills is a practical life and job training program with regular classes, field trips, mentoring, and in some cases paid internships.
Through this process, students learn the skills needed for independence and work, develop a mindset necessary for healthy decision-making in adulthood, and gain real employment or business opportunities through networking and coaching.
